I am a certified massage therapist, running and triathlon coach, and professional athlete. I graduated from The University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sport Management. I worked as a personal trainer for 10 years in various settings and with a variety of cliental including the elderly, physical therapy patients, and athletes. Later, I graduated from The Muscular Therapy Institute (Cortiva) in Cambridge
Massachusetts and have been in practice for over 9 years. Having worked in olympic and international training centers, my massage cliental included many olympic and professional triathletes, runners, and swimmers.
My specialty in massage therapy includes but is not limited to deep tissue sports massage, injury rehabilitation, and cupping massage therapy. However I also love to give a nice well deserved relaxation massage. In addition, I am a professional runner and Ironman triathlete and have had the opportunity to travel the world racing triathlons and road races.
As a New Balance sponsored athlete, I have competed among the world best in many world championship events, and truly enjoyed this journey. I have worked alongside some of the best and most well known coaches in the world and the training philosophies and lessons I have learned are invaluable. I love sharing this information with my running and triathlon clients, and have a passion for coaching athletes of all abilities.
“What stands Kelly apart from her massage therapist counterparts is her ability to truly understand what it is the athlete’s body needs to recover. Kelly’s experience as an elite athlete, combined with her extensive training in massage therapy, make her unique in her field. I consider myself quite fortunate to have worked with her for several years, and I plan to continue using her services for many years to come.”

“Kelly liljeblad is one of the best massage therapists I have had the pleasure to work with. Her training and experience are extensive but it is her background as an elite athlete that really sets her apart. Kelly knows athletes and has an intuitive feel for the muscles that is impossible to teach. You either have the gift or you don’t and Kelly definately has it. She worked on me prior to Ironman Hawaii in 2009 and I had a great race and my fastest recovery ever. My only complaint is that she won’t move to Tucson to work on me full time! On Track is lucky to have such a great resource.”
